ERRATA: Machap ADUN very very ill February 26, 2007

Profuse apologies. The Melakan source had sent me the inaccurate news that the Machap ADUN had passed away.
ERRATA: The state assemblyman for Machap (Melaka) has apparently slipped into coma.
This means quite likely there may be a by-election if he doesn’t recover.

When a legislator resigns, is incapacitated or passes away, a by-election must convene to replace him/her.
However, there is a cut-off point, which if I’m not mistaken, is this end of March 2007, then there will be no by-election and the constituency will be without a representative until the General Elections.
My source came from the local residents, who are naturally worried about today’s news.
