This is a Malaysian record.
Twenty-four hours after the launch of Dr. Kua Kia Soong’s latest book, “May 13″, 3 Barisan Nazional senators in Parliament today called for the book to be banned and action be taken against Kua.
They are:-
- Datuk Wira Syed Ali Syed Abbas Alhabshee;
- Datuk Jins Samsudin; and
- Datuk Saripah Aminah Syed Mohamed
Our marvellous senators apparently double-up as clairvoyants during their working hours, since they haven’t bought a copy, yet claim to know enough of it to be spouting nonsense like this.
Saya pun nak jadi senator.
Better call and book your copies now!

They do not need to read the book. They KNOW Dr.Kua Kia Soong will write out all that have been hiding from the public…or they are being told to object by those old futs..knowing what’s coming….so these three idiots simply object. In a way…it is good to show to the youngsters..especially the malays..how democractic we are under UMNO.
Now I wonder how can I get a copy by mail..maybe 6 copies..few to give to my friends.
Can Liz tell me…and will be great one copy signed by author to monsterball!! I don’t mind pay the extra service charges.
EW: You can log on to http://kinibooks.com to get copies shipped to you. As for your autographed copy, I am able to assist but should it be made to “monsterball”?
On what basis are they calling for the book to be banned?
Banning the truth?
What an idea! Incredible! Or an incredible idea?

I want one too please before they BAN it…. signed to “Rikey”
me get from you at BUM ok! thanks sis…
If it was their intention to ban it, the SB guys would have been there at the launch to confiscate all the books.
In any case, there is no point in banning after a few hundred books have been sold.
didn’t you know some MPs are behind masa? their watch is 10yrs late…
I am not surprised about the calls to ban the book. What do we expect when our country is full of idiots. Hitler would have been very proud of these sycophants.
The title has the word “May 13″ !!!!! Sure bad one… Just like Amir’s “Lelaki Komunis Terakhir”…
Woohoo I have my signed copy already!
The senators will have to try it out of my cold dead hands.
[...] Syed Ali Syed Abbas Alhabshee, Jins Samsudin & Saripah Aminah Syed Mohamed called for the book to be banned and action be taken against the author [...]
Our senators calling for the book to be banned and action to be taken against the author? What action when they have not even read the book? A poor reflection of the type of persons we have in our Parliament indeed.
I have bought a copy. To me it was nothing new. But, i would say – 4 decades are more than enough. Its time for us to look beyond the color of our skin and religion, and work as Malaysians!!!
As long as we let them have the 2/3 majority, we would be slaved and herded like dogs and cows….
“Know the truth and the truth will set you free!”
Do your own soul searching and don’t bark up the wrong tree
Though it will be difficult to remove all the scars of five one three
Remember that the best things in life like God’s reconciling love will always be free! Amen.
