Protest against yucky MPs May 14, 2007

UPDATE: The protest has been moved forward to 11 am.
The women’s groups have had it.
The modus operandi of NGOs when they are troubled is usually to write letters and hold press conferences. But last week was the last straw. So this is kinda a big deal when women’s NGOs go protesting on the streets.
They’re organising a protest outside the Ministry of Women against those yucky MPs who are content with making sexist jokes and remarks, and their brethren who cheer them on.
Please come!
“SAY YOU’RE SORRY! Or, Resign yucky MPs!”
Date: 15th May (Tuesday)
Time: 2.30pm
Venue: Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development
Level 1-6, Block E, Bukit Perdana Government Complex, Jalan Dato’ Onn
Kuala Lumpur (near Bank Negara)

They may be pressured to apologies but not to resign. Could you imagine two more by-elections if they do?
