Thank you so very much for your support!
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Our sincerest apologies though to those who are still looking for a copy or two – unfortunately both Suaram, Gerakbudaya and our agents are completely cleaned out of our stocks of “May 13″.
There may be a few left in the bookshops such as MPH and Kinokuniya, which were put out today, but this afternoon, I heard from the distributor that the stocks in Kino flew like the wind and they’ve run out too.
In Suaram, we had to start ‘rationing’ i.e. 2 copies per person. Even that didn’t slow down the sales. Our poor staff members have become penjual buku overnight.
Below is an email sent today to those who had written in to Suaram.
Thank you for your kind interest.
Due to the unanticipated and overwhelming response to the book, “May 13″, both Gerakbudaya and Suaram have finished all their stocks.
However, several hundred copies have been sent to the bookshops and they should available sometime this week.
You may also order online at http://kinibooks.com, however they are also out of stock and the books will only be shipped to all countries within 7-10 days.
We are currently into our first reprint and the stocks in our offices will be replenished by next week.
We apologise for any inconveniences caused.
If you still wish to reserve a copy of the book with us, please do let us know with an email.
Thank you
Now – if only our Annual Civil and Political Rights report move this fast!

as expected.. the more noise the politicians make about banning it, the faster it’s going to sell!! haha..
Psstt…bring more to the BUM2007 event, can?
Information for the people for informed choice!
I have phoned up for six copies. That lady told me she will pass the message to Liz with my HP number.
Hope to get good news.
Infect…the more the government try to ban anything concerning Malaysia….the more it will be a best seller…as no one really cares ..except they make it difficult for us to buy easily in book shops here.. Across the causeway…thousands are available…I am sure..so search the luggage bags from planes..bus…or even car drivers’ What idiots they are!!
On banning and marketing strategy. I saw in Singapore bookshops, they promotes some titles with big poster shouting, “Titles banned in Malaysia!!”
I can’t decide whether it is mocking or amusing.
Now you know what sells!
dropped by Suaram and was one of the unfortunate fellas. Can’t wait for the next reprint.Do inform us when it’s on sale again.
Keep up the good work
