Dipetik dari Malaysia-Today

(Roslan SMS Corner) Ia sepatutnya menjadi majlis ceramah umum.

At long last, the Auditor-General’s Report is out.

- RM 451 million to replace RM 290 million computer system of the Customs
- Cost overruns over the construction of the RTM Seremban building (RM 23.47 million to RM 38.51 million)
- Procurement of 6 PV by the Ministry of Defence nicely whacked, including the choice of the contractor, resulting in additional costs of RM 1.4 billion. Then 2 of the PVs aren’t used optimumly due to bad fittings.
- 2 Mi-171 helicopters for the Police ‘unit udara’ could not be used because they couldn’t be registered as a ‘public aircrafts’.

Haven’t read up to the story of the RM 50 screwdriver (actually I found out it’s a carjack kit later) which I was told, is somewhere inside the report.

A Kodak camera for RM 8K?? The ministry could have bought a Nikon D80 lar.

Apparently, magic bullets don’t just exist in Dallas, but also in Malaysia.

The state police chief added that as a result of the single shot, two men from the group were hurt - one in his shoulder and another in his neck. (Source: Malaysiakini.com)

Actually, it’s a shot in the chest and the other in the neck.

There’s more. (more…)
