Anwar free! Now Petra arrested enroute to IPK??!! July 17, 2008

After spending the night on IPK KL’s cold hard cement floor, this morning, Anwar Ibrahim is free.

He will hold a press conference at 2 pm at his home.

But Raja Petra was due at the IPK, said to be charged for criminal defamation. But he was arrested while on the way there (is this police SOP now?) and whisked to the Duta High Court. What the ************!!!!

If the two had the opportunity to meet there and compare notes, they may stumble upon the fact that the architects of their persecution are one and the same.

PDRM showing its muscle, don’t play play. When dealing with defenceless figure, they came in with UTK and balaclavas, never seen them confronting the real criminals with such a force. Big Pondans.

Have you been back to Kampung Sungei Kayu Ara since March 08?
Have you got your service centre up and running?

EW: It is one of the priority areas as there are multiple problems there not withstanding a lack of basic infrastructure. Approximately t 3 times a month since March 08. Service centre since April 08.

Hello,

Well, now the authorities is investigating all issues which is the high-profile cases. They need to investigate and clear the case swiftly so that no public disorder will occur in the country.

RPK is charged based on his SD. Now the search for truth beyond and behind the case will have to exist and merge out..or else the authorities is going to get blames together with the federal government.

Fairdinkum ,
he’s an economist as he comes and he should be running the country, not someone else’s forefather promised them the job.
Get on with it DSAI were are truly in support of you all the way to PutraJaya.

6. Crotalus - July 17, 2008

from the way the police/government are executing these arrests, it looks kinda familiar….ISA?
ISA in a way I meant. The people have voice up against the use of ISA, so as an alternative to show who is the boss, to flex their almighty power…they resorted to the police force. Anyone standing in their way, simple…just pay someone to make a police report, then get a warrant (our warrant of arrest seems easy to be obtained) to capture him/her.

Are they law enforcers or are they cartoons? They seemed to serve only BN and their shameless goons. Whilst the RAKYAT is being treated like baboons, their leaders suffer incarceration in locked-up rooms. Let’s send the fabricaters of crime and murderers to gaol soon or boot them into the far corners of the moon.

I am an ordinary rakyat. But what on earth is going on in Malaysia? What the hell is the meaning of all these police action — arresting citizens on their way to meet them and doing so as though they are armed terrorists?

There is a serious — very serious message being sent out by the forces that be or perhaps by that UNSEEN HAND THAT SEEMS TO CONTROL THIS NATION, to all and sundry.

Can the MPs and all the legal fraternity convene ON AN EMERGENCY BASIS and put a stop to all these dangerous developments? Otherwise, silence from the learned and capable is tantamount to saying: ‘It is too late; we are as dis-empowered as any ordinary rakyat’.

Oh my God hope we have not gone broke!!

Hi,

The ruling regime in Malaysia is not the BN. Itis UMNO. Their leaders remind me of the “LEECH”. Even if you take a leech and place it on a satin-sheeted queen-size bed, it will be uncomfortable. It’s only comfortable if its back to the mud and grime to which its familiar. The leech belongs to the mud. The UMNO leaders are no different !! Even with all the perks, priviliges and comfort extende to them, they are only comfortable if the steal from the coffers, slander and back-stab another and lie all the time. They don’t say what they mean and they mean that which they don’t say. What a pain in my heart to see the country going to the dogs.

I have a 15 year old son.He also likes reading the newspaper. And yesterday morning when I sent him to school, he had asked me this question.
Bah! what is happenning to Malaysia? Why are there so many political problems?
Now how do you answer such a question. He has freinds and they do talk among themselves. And believe you me they know more then we think they know about the political situation of Malaysia. He will be an adult soon, he will leave secondary education and maybe pursue tertiary education one day, who knows.
Now what concerns me most is the way he asked me this question.
How should I reply?
How should I tackle this question?
How can I explain the present political situation to him?
He knows the political turmoil of his country better then most of us due to internet, bloggs exposure. (Which is good)
Must I lie to him and say that the political situation of Malaysia is all well and rosie.
What future will he and his friend have if the political situation of this county remains the same in the comming years. We all know the political senario here is int a very, very deplorable state, maybe much worst then could happen. Here”s how I explained to him .
a) PM – messed up, ineffecient
b) DPM – messed up, linked to too many scandals
c) Attorney Genneral – Judiciary – messed up, IGP under probe
e) Immigration Dept, guarding our land from illegals – messed up, A-G under probe
f) Bomba Ketua Pengarah – messed up, under probe and investiagtion
h) Economy – messed up infaltion is now at about 5-8% worst off then in 2007.
i) Parliament – messed up, the way they debate issues there will make even the hyenas laugh. It’s wore then a primaty school PTA meeting.
j) Education – messed up, half the time the teachers are not in class, but are instead (i)attending seminars, (ii)or furthering their education, (iii) or are on maternity leave, (iv) or are doing other unrelated educational activities
k)Our politicians – no defender of the truth
l)Our national security – it’s so badly managed, that explosives can be removed without consent, and here’s the ruling party telling us about the rakyaat’s safety.
m) Transportation system – messed up, no improvemnt for the past 20 odd years. Its a nightmare to drive in KLvany time of the day or week.
Now ther are many more messed up situations in this county it will take me another ten pages to list them all down..
So my reply to my son’ question is!!!!!
When we flush down the toilet the present BN government maybe and who knows maybe even then its a maybe that the mess will be disappear.

Is the police minister Syed Albar the investigating officer in Anwar’s sodomy case? Is Badawi the Investigating Officer in Altantunya case. Syed Alber was quoted as saying Police will take DNA from Anwar, and Badawi noted that Najib has no involvement in the Altantunya case. These statements made by Malaysia’s outgoing Ministers shows that Malaysian Police take their cue from Albar and Badawi. Does the trainees in police force learn the basic law relating to how and when an arrest can be made? I do not think so. The style is to arrest first then construct the case from the story told by the victim of the arrest. Guys we have to save the nation. Politicians come and go but the nations pillars must remain. Our duty as citizens is to uphold the constitution. If the BN politicians, JUDGES AG and Police are not doing it we should show the way. JOM LIWAT.

26. A.Liew - July 17, 2008

well that Anwar is freed unharmed should speak volumes, if anything at least the PM kept his words. RPK is his usual self in court today, and heard he too is relased now? he started the mudslingings though, that part should not be overlooked.

28. queequeg - July 17, 2008

It is always the darkest before the dawn. What we are experiencing now is indeed the darkest episode in contemporary Malaysian history. Rest assured, when the dust settles the truth will come out. Always will and always does.
IMHO, the forces that be will never contemplate “scorched earth” theory because there will be too much losses and suffering on their part too. So, it is high time that PR end this high stakes “poker” game and tell the government, “Your time is up! We are taking over and GET OUT OF THE WAY!”

31. GIDEON'S CALL - July 17, 2008

Dear citizens…whats all these talk about our country on the verge of being a Police State…..for heaven’s sake it ALREADY IS ONE larr you naive people…for the past 30 years at that!! Its only now that you guys are waking up to the realities thanks to the internet and blog….hey people dont your tolerance level have a limit? Frankly its not the politicians from the ruling party and their associates who are stupid….ITS WE WHO ARE THE MORONS FOR SO LONG!!! Put away your laptops and start pondering real deep on the events of the past few days…and if you are bright enough you might just realize it…Yes you slothful morons shame on you (and some of you even have the cheek to call yourselves overseas-trained professionals!!) THERE IS NO DEMOCRACY IN MALAYSIA…!! Its really Action time NOW!! Get the best (and unbiased) legal people in together with other neutral, decent ,influential people and meet with the King!! Sorry to say this folks….all these talk of the Political Tsunami of March 8 and the resultant (so called healthy) two party system emerging in the country is just a DOOMED DREAM!! As a Christian i know for sure that If we fight for the TRUTH God will definitely be with us…and when he’s with us nobody can be against us!! Not the power-abusing Pharaohs of the ruling party…not the corrupted Pontious Pilates of our Judiciary, AG, Police etc….Hey people lets take responsibility for democracy in this country…ITS OUR COUNTRY, OUR RESPONSIBILITY!!
…we still have a fighting chance to do something NOW!!..before we slip into the ‘black-hole’ together with the Zimbabwes and the Latin American countries let alone the Philipines and Mynmar….never to return!!.

32. Birdseye - July 17, 2008

Many police officers in this country are grade 3, form 5. Come on people, cut them some slack.

Malaysia has turned into a police state where Anwar Ibrahim is concerned. I wonder why he answered any question at all if they were not going to provide him with a copy of Saiful’s report. I bet the selected judge will say that it is acceptable practice.

Letting them measure his private parts is also foolish. What is there to prevent the information from being passed on to Saiful so he will be able to describe Anwar’s private part in court to buttress his claim? You know Liz, like length when not aroused, distinguishing marks ( such as moles), etc. Seriously, What the ************!!!!

Some readers may not have been aware of a sexual harassment suit brought by one Paula Jones against former US President Bill Clinton.

Miss Jones alleged that old Bill pulled his pants down in an hotel room and told her to kiss (er, I mean suck) it. It was during the deposition by Jones’ lawyers that the world came to know about Bill Clinton’s tryst with “that woman’ , Miss (Monica) Lewinsky”. The rest, as they say, is history.

What is the point I am trying to make?

Well, Paula Jones’ lawyers leaked a description of Bill’s penis; it wasn’t large by American standard but there was a distinct bent, earning Bill the nickname “The Bent One” in some chat rooms.
Bill Clinton settled the lawsuit and paid Miss Jones US800,000 partly because of the pressures of impeachment proceedings against him in congress and also because he did not want the American public to know more about his penis.

Anwar Ibrahim is living dangerously.

how often you come down to bandar utama ?How often you ronda your area?wat times are you at the service centre?

pls let me know.too mcuh traffic and potholes here.

dave-bdr utama resident

EW: At least once a week. BU Service Centre Fridays 6-8 pm. Potholes can be resolved by calling MBPJ directly and traffic is a much larger issue which involves not only Bandar Utama but also TTDI, Tropicana, Dsara Utama etc. In the past scant attention was given to Traffic Impact Assessment reporting by developers. Any resolution will have to involve multi-resident associations surrounding the BU.

Raja Petra never claim he has information that Rosmah was at crime scene.

Raja Petra claims he ‘hear’ his ‘informant’ says that Rosmah was at the crime scene.

Scene Act 1 :

Judge : Why did you said Rosmah was at crime scene ?

RPK : No… I did not declared that Rosmah was at crime scene.

Judge : If not, what did you declared ?

RPK : I declared my ‘informant’ said Rosmah was at the crime scene.

Judge : Informant, why did you declared that Rosmah at the crime scene ?

Informant : No, I did not declared but I only say it at my private home. RPK was the one who declared Rosmah at crime scene.

RPK : No… I did not ! I declared I hear you say that Rosmah was at the crime scene.

Judge : So, ‘informant’, you say but not declared ?

Informant : Yes, I say but did not declared, and I say it at my home, and I did not do it or spread it to the Public.

Judge : Why did you say it then ?

Informant : The law says I can say whatever I want at my home. I can say I am a Superman if I want.
So, I am not guilty of anything.

Judge : Yes, you are not guilty.

RPK : Since I declared I hear the informant says it, therefore my declaration is not false after all.

Judge : Yes, your declaration is true.

RPK : So, I am not guilty of anything.

Judge : Don’t be too sure about that part. You must know eventhough your declaration is correct, you can still be guilty of ‘Malicious Intent’ which you know, I know and everyone know. Your intention is clearly to confused people that they thought you declared you know Rosmah at the crime scene.

Momo : RPK, you are a disgraced to all the Bloggers with your blatant confusions with your bad intention. So, get LOST you scumbag. Whoaa..hoaa…haaaa….
