The two Perak Excos were charged in the Ipoh sessions court this morning.
I know one of them, Capt Osman, who is my counterpart in tourism. Suffice to say, his arrest and that of his mates had nothing to do with corruption. If not for the brave magistrate who refused to grant the additional remand order, there could well be a new government in Perak by this week – a goal relentlessly pursued by Umno Perak.
There were some preliminary objections this morning, including state jurisdiction. This will be an exciting case to look forward to – exciting as it will reveal the machinations of the BN state apparatus involving the ACA, the Special Branch and its links with Umno. Mention will be on 15 September.
I am very grateful to my old schoolmate, Wende, who joined the legal team yesterday with her legal partner and brought in more firepower to defend these men.

I’m glad to hear from you on Capt. Osman’s case. Let’s hope the truth is spilled.
Hopefully everything will be ok. We know what the BN is trying to do and what a shame especially to former MB. The only thing they will do is continues denial and ever ready to angkat sumpah. If BN think angkat sumpah is the legal order of the day then, it should be enough for the two excos to angkat sumpah. If the BN goons want to resort that “the end justify the means” so Pakatan Rakyat, let fight them since they had declared war against us, we must now go for offensive. The rakyat must be informed of this BN dirty tricks. MOBILIZE-just do it. IN GOD WE TRUST.
ACCA is not trustworthy. Harapkan pagar, pagar makan padi.
The charges made on these two Perak exco members so close to the PP by-election, a coincidence?
I am surprised at the efficiency of ACA and the double standards they practice. Perhaps, PK should establish a new RAKYAT ACA which has the power to make the present lot answerable to their actions. What is the point having an ACA that serves the ruling political masters!

Hello Eli. Could u plse clarify would do u mean by extending the remand order, a new govt would take over. Shouldn’t the case be tried in courts and the two found guilty b4 u can do that? Appreciate yr reply, tx.
