(Another) Cabinet reshuffle in the cards? November 19, 2006Posted by elizabethwong in Malaysia, Note2Self, Politics.
Former Chief Minister of Selangor and the man whose limited English vocabulary got him into a spot of trouble (handcarrying 2 million in cash) with the Australian Immigration, Muhammad Taib, was sworn in as the latest Senator in the Upper House.

Another cabinet reshuffle is said to be in the cards, now that Abdullah Badawi has had his “coming out” party this week.
Whether it will be yet a more expanded cabinet, now possibly the largest in the world, or is Abdullah confident enough to start trimming those said to be close to the former PM remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, the anger from non-Umno parties and Chinese associations is highlighted in the Saturday evening edition of Nanyang San Pau.
