Alas, resistance is futile. So much for holding back til the new year.
I’d just read the moron of a deputy Prime Minister’s statement about the Opposition bankrupting the nation if they channel Petronas’ profits (allegedly RM 70 billion, but it’s believed there’s why more than that) to fuel subsidies.
No, stupid. The Opposition said to return to the old prices i.e. RM 4 billion plus-plus, and that’s according to your calculations, leaving plenty of spare change for better and more transparent investment in development *if* managed by a more democratic, transparent and accountable Opposition government.
Maybe Dottie’s been whacking the DPM’s head til it’s kosong?
As of today, we would have *saved* some RM 8 billion which were supposed to have been channeled to *public transport* (See super-real time-counter at me mates’ blog).
Mana? Where? Got ah?
There are no additional trains on my Kommuter line. The regularity of my RapidKL bus has dwindled from an average of 4x/hour@RM 1.00 (which came on time in the old days) to 2x/hour@RM 2.00 whenever.
Where are my bicycle lanes?
Can 4th Floor please reassign the DPM to the post of Malaysian ambassador to Mongolia? I heard the hospitality there is pretty excellent.
Til next year, toodles!
