WTF: Male MP wants to beat female MP November 20, 2007

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environment and Samy loyalist, S.Sothinathan (BN / MIC-Telok Kemang), challenged opposition Member of Parliament Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah) to a fight outside the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, when he wasn’t able to reply to exchanges with the opposition bench (which could hardly be considered heated).

Coward.

So this is the culture of BN, i.e. just because you can’t answer questions, your response is to beat people up.

Sothi, don’t just issue empty threats. Otherwise you’re just another w*nker. Do it. Do it in front of all the reporters in Parliament. Then you’d be crowned ‘jantan‘ – in those brief few seconds – before you’re set upon and then lose all ability to have children in the future.

This is so going into the MGS Ipoh Facebook group. Let’s see what happens if Sothi dares to step into Poh Kuan’s (and my) alma mater.

(Thanks Swee Kuan for the YouTube link. See Lim Kit Siang’s statement here: “Shame of MIC MP challenging a woman DAP MP to “fight” outside Chamber – first time in Parliament in 50 years”)

Hilarious exchange during the short war-of-words over PKFZ.

“The opposition is only good at making a small issue big,” he said.

At this juncture, Chong Eng (DAP-Bukit Mertajam) demanded Bung Mokhtar to explain more about the PKFZ – a project undertaken by the Port Klang Authority (PKA).

Chong Eng: What do you understand about PKFZ? Can you explain? You don’t know what you are talking about.

Bung Mokhtar: I will not explain. This is my floor, and I will not give room for explanations. You can challenge me anytime, and you can choose the place.

Chong Eng: Explain it here. You have no clue what you are talking about.

Bung Mokhtar ignored Chong Eng and further stressed that PKFZ can generate more investments in the future. (Malaysiakini)

Not to be deterred having been caught talking nought, he then went on, oblivious to the fact that not too ago, he went bocoring here and there:-

“Inviting someone who has done something very disgusting is like playing dirty politics, and only people with dirty mind play dirty politics,” he said. (on DAP inviting Namewee to join the party)

Ignorance is bliss.

(I’ve just been reminded that apparently a woman candidate from KeADILan is planning to run against Bung Mokhtar in the parliamentary seat of Kinabatangan!)

My friend and fellow traveller, Jess, sent me this link to an amazing blog of a Tibetan activist, Lhadon Tethong.

She has been in Beijing since the start of the August, in a campaign to remind the world, gearing up for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, not to close its eyes and ears to the sufferings of the Tibetans.

Unfortunately, a number of activists were reported to have been arrested today. Hopefully Lhadon’s not one of them, and will continue blogging.

See also Yingsel – the Tibetan antelope and one of the mascots of the Beijing Olympics. Apparently, it defected.

Friday. Phoo-ey.

First, this scrub tells me we’re puppets of Jews and Americanos. And that we’re nasty coz we wanna take away this scrub’s privileges for mergers and acquisitions.

Get a life. Use your head. And go get a job on your own merit.

Then some scrub of a student group said my girl Gwen has a past record of “indecent dressing and obscenity”, so she can’t sing here.

Get a life. Listen to the music, not follow your other head.

Here’s what’s really indecent. Like how young women are treated like trash by young men. Like inequality and gender discrimination. Like violence against women. Like scrubs bleeding the country. Like scrubs who don’t cook, clean up and bathe the cat. Let’s not even venture into under-performance (and I shall end right there).

No scrubs GE 2007. Vote ’em scrubs out from Parliament.

Wednesday morning.

Our tax dollars runneth. Another dumb-*ss question that will tickle ’em silly and bring the wolf out. Hilarity guaranteed. Better than viagra.

Q3. PR-1122-L9472
Datuk Ir.

(Loosely translates to – What does the Ministry for Youth and Sports have to say about hostesses in hot clothes at Super GT race held annually in Malaysia?)

How would you answer if you were the good Minister?

Die. While cleaning up malaysiakini’s bag of unnecessary codes, I’d accidentally saved over my original writeup. Hope there’s cache somewhere.

Cr*p.

Here’s the newsflash, first up among the news portal. The flash was probably so blinding that everything else disappeared…

(Reconstruction underway. Feeling 0.0000001% of what Said Zahari must have felt when his notebook, where his finished manuscript resided, was stolen.)
