You know the drill, guys – Call Bukit Aman and whack them. Otherwise see you there.

3 policemen for Nat. But not enough to fight real crime.

Jul 13, 07 5:40pm Adjust font size:

A PKR information bureau staff was taken for questioning by three plainclothes policemen this evening.

Nathaniel Tan, 26, was picked up from the office of a non-governmental organisation Yayasan Aman in Petaling Jaya.

According to witnesses, the policemen did not provide any reasons as to why Tan was asked to follow them.

They said the policemen entered the office at about 4.45pm and requested for Tan to follow them to the Bukit Aman police headquarters for questioning.

The policemen also requested that Tan bring his notebook computer with him.

[3 policemen for Nat. But not enough to fight real crime.]

It is indeed not enough man power to fight real crime. But, “soft-cream-crime?” it is indeed got more than enough to fight for.

When it comes to crime cases, police are last on the scene. When it comes to working for political masters, police are first on the scene. Abdullah Badawi, stop talking rot, walk the talk, and stop hiding behind your love for your new bride. Abdullah Badawi, if you have guts, jail all your Umno Youth shit stirrers.

I have registered my support for Nat at Susan’s and my blog – time like this, we need to put aside our political leanings and support Nat.

12. Bob K - July 13, 2007

A solidarity gathering will be held at 9.00 pm tonight in front of the Police HQ @ Bukit Aman. Come and show your support against state harassment and intimidation.

At first I was really concerned…but when it is made known Mr Nat is from PKR, Oh God! I am wasting my time here. Let him rot there, and no one will bother. Just like his big bro…Tian Chua

EW: mr dumbo – if you don’t give a rat’s ass, don’t comment lar. Gile glamor ….

No trail in this case, not even contact person or numbers. They claimed to be SB and even Bkt. Aman officially deny ever picking him up for ‘cakap-cakap pasal internet’. This is disturbing. Please keep us updated, Eli.

15. __earth - July 13, 2007

bah. Found out about the gathering an hour later.

16. johnleemk - July 13, 2007

Nat’s political leanings are not important, I think. The SB nabbed him not for which party he joined, but because of the role he has been trying to play in getting those with little political inclination involved in making a difference in the country, even if it is through non-political means.

I don’t care if you don’t support PKR, or if you hate it. What’s important is that if you love Malaysia and you love the principles our Constitution and Proclamation of Independence and Rukunegara all enshrine, you should be getting involved in changing the policies of this ruling regime, if not changing the regime itself.

By martyring Nat, the establishment wants to deter non-political people like some of us who have been working with him from getting involved. The last thing they need is a non-political movement working for change.

So, for those reading this, I implore you to make a small difference, in whatever way you can. They can arrest one of us, but they can’t detain all of us:

Bob K- “A solidarity gathering will be held at 9.00 pm tonight in front of the Police HQ @ Bukit Aman”.

I am not in the Penisular, but if I am I will sure be there. I hope such unity of support applies to any ragtags as well.

Btw, when Badawi assumed his premiership, he initialed it unquestionably with the arrest of the ‘untouchable’ Eric Chia during the Mahathir regime, kick-off the Royal Malaysian Commission and being nicked “Mr Clean”.

Now he’s being named-called and irrefutably the lamest PM in Malaysian history. That is what Mahathir wants him to be only unfortunately that Badawi rarely serve Mahathir’s interest.
